I live near MK, ish. (Northampton)
I'm doing Translation, French and Media...year 1 lol.
I quite like uni and it's not too bad at the moment.
Luckily I met a few mad people like me hehe.
Although I don't really go out and drink a lot or
anything, so in that wya I'm quite different to
people here, like my flatmates.
What're you doing now then? Working?

Thats so weird, the two of us being so close together, and being dollers and having gone to uea. I knew a few people who went to uea but I've known another doller from around here.
That sounds like an interesting course, I've always wanted to learn a language. I did American Studies which i loved, if I'd have stuck it out i would have focused on Native Americans, i found that area of the course fascinating.
Which flats are you in? I was in Paston House but they were still building the flats next door, i lived on a building site for a year lol.
I'm like you, i never really went out drinking, i still don't, my team leader got me drunk for the first time at our Christmas party last year lol. I work in Newport Pagnell now in a call center for lease drivers. It sounds dull but the people are awesome and I'm a lot happier now than i was by the time i left uni. I'm hoping to work in musical theater at some point.

Lol I don't know any other dollers either at UEA
or from near where I live lol...
Ooh American Studies sounds kinda intwresting.
The building site thing sucks. I'm in Victory House,
which is next to Paston pretty much. My friend is in
Paston, flat 15 I think... hehe.
Lol I don't go out very much either, mainly just to
friends' flats and things. I'm hoping to go to the SU
bar/pub tomorrow because I want to go to a write-in for
NaNoWriMo (do you know of it?).
Lol ah Newport Pagnell...always see the signs for that on the
motorway and recognise it every time lol! As long as you're
happy then it's all good XD.
Musical theater sounds really interesting. What sort of
thing would you do? Have you done anything like it before?
Did you join any Socs at UEA?

i think i remember victory house, my memory sucks so I'm not positive lol. I also don't remember which flat I was in, how bad is that? I know i was top floor at the back on the end closest to the uni. I was on the corner room so it was a bit bigger but freezing because of the big windows. The person opposite me got a heater for Christmas just because it was so cold.
I heard about NaNoWriMo earlier this month, it sounds intense, did you do it? I might try it one day, but I only write dodgy fanfics.
lol its heard to forget newport pagnell, i've lived here most of my life, i won't be living here all my life tho. you know when you get fed up of living somewhere? I'd like to move back to Norwich one day. I'd love to live in America at some point, but i'd like to go to Alaska, a bit odd i know.
I'm not sure what I'd do, i was thinking make up but I've had a look at whats available around milton keynes and I'd have to do a full time collage course to do that and i can't really afford to do that. I think I'd like to work anywhere really, i love musicals so much I'd love to be a part of it. I applied to be a volunteer at mad cap in Wolverton a while ago but they never got back to me. The closest i got was doing my sisters make up on Halloween. i did her up as the move Joker and i did a pretty good job i think, considering i only had a very cheap face paint kit. I'll put some pics up one day and you can have look if you like.
the only soc i joined at UEA was the history one but it was just a cover for pub crawls so i stopped after a while. I joined the orchestra for a bit ( i played the flute at about a grade 4 level) but i dropped out because I'm not very good at sight reading, i couldn't really keep up.
What other interests do you have?
And also, i don't know if you saw my post about this, but i've made a dolling advent calender. All the dolls are gifts if you want any of them. the link is [link]
Talk to you soon

>_< At first I had tons of messages so I was going through them slowly but then I decided your reply needed a long reply too and so kept putting it off because of time... sorry! Heh.
Oh I don't know if I told you but they're re-doing the square. They've started the building work - well they had in September- but I don't know how well they're getting on with it. Again, once it's done, I'll take a pic so you can see, heh.
As for NaNoWriMo, yes I did it and completed it. It felt fantastic, hehe. I haven't written much more to my story / finished it / edited it yet though... Well fanfiction is allowed in NaNoWriMo - I think it'd be a great idea, hehe.
Ooh America and Alaska, eh? That sounds pretty interesting. I'd like to visit Japan (but not live there)...maybe Peru too.
I'd love to go and see France or Germany again as well.
have you ever been to America? I haven't.
Did you look up any courses or anything? I'm still slacking off like last semester...it's really bad, I should deffo do more work...we all should, heh.
Musicals sound fab. I'm really artistically/musically challenged so I don't think I'd be of much use in any, lol. I did take a (backstage) part in the French play though. What would be your dream musical? As for make-up, that sounds really cool. Haven't seen Batman but I know what Joker looks like, impressive.
Oh, I've always thought the flute sounded lovely and to get to level 4 you must've been pretty darn good!
As for other interests, I love to read. Normal books and fanfiction too. Oh and watch movies, though I'm very, very far away from being a film buff, heh. I like just to be random and find weird things to do lol.
By the way, the doll advent calendar was amazing! I don't know how you did it... all the dolls were really cute / creative.
I haven't dolled since Christmas - wait, I must have forgotten to send you my Xmas doll... hmm... I'll dig out the link O_o. But yeah, I lost my grpahics tablet pen and then time-wise I've been stretched... I'd like to start again though, it relaxes me.
Here's the Xmas gift: [link]
